Welcome to Week 15 of the 2011 Thursday Night Horseshoes Season!

This is it! Last week of shooting and a lot of positions yet to be determined! What a great close season!!

Standings are updated from week 14! Don't forget the year end tournament and banquet Saturday the 20th! There are a ton of door prizes to be won. Make sure you have signed up for the banquet as the cost is taken out of your prize money before the banquet. 

We hope to see Maria Worth out there the last week. For those who did not know, Maria donated a kidney to someone in need. That is true giving and make sure you wish her well if you see her.

Sue Conway made an appearance at horseshoes last Wednesday! She still has a way to go, but it was great seeing her out there!!

Congrats to TJ and Heather, who wed and are now Weber & Weber! 

Congrats to Chad and Erin, who due to recent nuptials, are now Whitney & Whitney!!!!

IMPORTANT!!!! I know this has been up for awhile, but please don't forget Sue Conway. The former Wednesday night secretary and one of the top shooters for many years is still fighting to recover from cancer. She has so far passed through an operation with flying colors, but has a long road ahead of her. PLEASE go to www.caringbridge.org/visit/sueconway and read about her courageous fight. There is a blog about her condition every day, so keep checking back. It makes us realize there are lots more important things in life than winning and losing at horseshoes. Please send her a greeting in her guestbook, and if so inclined you can make a tribute in her name. Let Sue know we are thinking about her and can't wait to see her back at the pits!!!

Say congratulations to Billy Blye who graduated from Nazareth College with a Bachelors in Communications! Great job Billy!
